This question is about Nutrition
According to the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA), the average sedentary adult should eat at least 0.8 g of protein/kg of body weight/day, though a growing body of evidence suggests protein intakes need to be at least 1.0 g/kg/day [ 1 2
However, active adults may need more protein to support the demands of training and aid in recovery. Organizations like the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the American College of Sports Medicine and International Society of Sports Nutrition recommend active adults eat between 1.2 – 2.0 g/kg of protein each day to support muscle growth and aid in recovery [ 3 4
