Hi, my name is Jessica Dogert, a registered dietitian nutritionist and one of Elo's newest health coaches. My role within the company is to help members optimize their wellbeing and thrive in all areas of their lives. You deserve to experience radiant health, feel good, and live a life way beyond your wildest dreams. And I will help you get there.
I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University where I double majored in Dietetics and Nutrition, Fitness & Health and then transitioned to the University of Illinois at Ingalls Memorial to complete my dietetic internship and earn my Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credentials. Before joining Elo, I was a nutrition consultant for many innovative wellness brands which has led me to help hundreds of performance driven individuals like you fine tune their health habits for enhanced energy, cognition and overall longevity. I also contributed to a weekly wellness blog that was recently named “Best Nutrition Blog'' by Health Magazine, made appearances on local TV and co-hosted a podcast that featured top notch experts in the biohacking space.
Before I had done the research, I ate a low fat diet (anyone else jump on that bandwagon?). Little did I know how (and to what level) it would affect my health. I lacked energy, mental acuity and happiness. I felt tired and unfocused all the time, and now I know why. Our brains are about 60% fat, which meansI had been starving my brain of one of its main components. Thankfully, times have changed! Incorporating lots of healthy anti-inflammatory fats (in addition to taking personalized supplements that nourish me at a cellular level) have been true game changers for me. It's amazing to see how a healthy lifestyle has such an impact on things like mood, stress levels, and creativity. That's why I am so passionate about mental wellness and living out a healthy lifestyle. I've witnessed how good you can feel when you treat your brain and body right. Through my journey of learning how to care for my brain and body I've become an expert who can help you.
I came on board with Elo to help drive the mission of preventive medicine and work with members to help them become the best possible versions of themselves. My specialties include longevity, cognition, energy, metabolic fitness and healthy habit formation. So far my journey within Elo has been nothing short of amazing. I believe so deeply in the mission my talented teammates and I are tackling; to capture biomarkers to deliver personalized nutrition solutions that produce better health in order to age confidently. I’m grateful to be a part of Elo and I look forward to contributing my unique nutrition expertise within this novel company. Let the ride begin!
When I'm not working with Elo members to personalize their nutrition, you'll often find me walking, lifting weights and spending time with my friends and family. I also very much enjoy attending wellness conferences, buying local produce at the farmer's market and peaceful mornings with a warm cup of coffee in hand.
